Make-Up is applied by almost every women and many men everyday. Many consider it a way of hiding unwanted blemishes, diminishing the look of "no-sleep" and an attempt to make yourself more attractive.
To some, it is a way of disguising yourself, re-inventing yourself for the evening, day, week...
To some, it is a way of disguising yourself, re-inventing yourself for the evening, day, week...
It can be a way to portray emotion, ideals, a character.
All very valid uses. I have worn make-up with all of these motivations. My particular favourite is the aspect of using make-up as creative expression: art.
My make-up is art. Whether it is
a technique I am quite routine
with, a new adaption to an old
style or a original mix of strokes
and products, my face becomes a
canvas for my art.
I want to encourage this philosophy and promote confidence to express yourself in this way. This could be the first time you will creatively express yourself or this could be one of your many facets of expression. Through the art of make-up you create your own rules and can be in control of something no one else can: the way you present yourself.
Explore, practise, create, enjoy.
